I can provide a series of services to my customers.
Among them are:
SALES OF ALL MOTORCYCLES ON THE PRODUCT LIST
ALSO:
"FIND ME A BIKE"
I search and find what the customer requires. The customer sets the parameters.
When I locate a machine, I would communicate the spec, mileage, owners, service history, luggage etc and possibly a photograph.
If the customer agrees, then a healthy, minimum deposit (1/3 of the agreed purchase price is required. Speed is important so a bank transfer is the best), all communication is by e-mail to provide an audit trail for both sides.
I make the deal at the other end; secure the bike or bikes I intend to view (I like options)
I arrange collection, usually as fast as I can; within a week is the norm. I thoroughly check the bike. Mechanically, and most importantly documentation, authenticity, etc. If all is OK the bike comes back to the UK. Clearly I fund the rest of the purchase until sale to the customer is completed.
Once in the Uk, I re-commission where required. This is an opportunity for the customer to make a few changes, for example you may like to change the collector box for a stainless Y piece or the front brake pipe for braided stainless, alloy panniers, high, low front mudguard, GEARBOX RATIOS (HIGH 5TH ETC)
All is possible, but this effect the final price and are agreed in advance and following additional payment, prior to work commencing.
What happens to my deposit, if BAMW goes and the bike is not up to standard, and comes back without it?
I will not bring back anything that I’m not completely happy with. This protects us both. In this case your deposit is refunded (Bank transfer preferred). I would only deduct a nominal £250 for travel expenses. THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED YET! It is all in having the bike provisionally checked and verified by my contacts before I go.
What happens to my deposit, if when I see it, after commissioning, I change my mind and don’t want it?
Once re-commissioning is completed, you can come and see the bike.
If without really good reason, in relation to the bike itself, you opt out of completing, You lose 50% of your deposit and the cost of any extras already paid for.
As you can see, all sorts of fail-safes are built in to protect the customer and myself. I’ve tried to be fair to both sides. I believe my reputation speaks for itself.
Please read the above carefully.
You are welcome to come and visit me at my home; in fact I would prefer that. It is good to see each other to ascertain our intentions and for you to be able to see my work/set up.
