A personal message from Gary

At the end of this year, 2022, BaMW Ltd. will be closing.

It has been my pleasure to service the BMW Airhead community for nearly two decades. At 61, having achieved an extensive collection of bikes of my own, it’s time for a life change and to slow down a little.

I would like to reassure my customers that I am still here for support and advice but no longer on a business footing. I am an enthusiast first and love to talk bikes and am only too willing to continue to help where I can and "give back" as they say.

This website will remain active and will retain my contact details but nothing will be for sale - bikes, parts or services.

I have a few old bikes of my own, some I’ve owned and loved for over ten years, that need rebuilding, so I will be keeping myself busy, in retirement, but at my own pace. Hopefully this will give me back the time to ride my bikes more and attend more events with my friends.

I would sincerely like to thank all my customers for their loyalty and friendship over the years.

1986 R80g/s "Last series" Rare Touareg Blue livery

Price: circa £15,000

This is a matching numbers motorcycle, fully restored to BaMW standards.

BMW introduced this livery right at the end of production, only a handful were made at the very end of production. They are hard to find and the top of the pile for collectability and values. This left the factory in this livery.

BaMW Paris Dakar arrives in Connecticut, USA!

Hello Gary!

Oh my - the GS is absolutely incredible!! I mean truly spectacular!!
Haven't had a chance to start, or ride it yet with the bad weather, but it is so gorgeous.
I love just looking at it!!
Here's a photo of it in front of the house upon arrival. It's quite the Christmas present.
In the crate with just the one side off, it looks like a giant kid's toy, which I guess that's what it really is!
